Awaken Inn

A place to connect, share ideas, and
explore beyond the mainstream

Awaken Inn is a regular, in-person gathering of like-minded souls who are awake, or awakening, to what's really going on in the world.

It's a place to meet others on a similar journey, exchange ideas, share what we've discovered and explore new ways of looking at the world. No one has all the answers, and there's always more to learn.

What is it?

Everything we do at Awaken Inn is built around three core principles:

1. COMMUNITY BUILDING To connect with like-minded people, build genuine friendships and create a sense of community. Less isolation, more coming together.

2. IDEA SHARING To share what we've learned, or are learning, with others. By exchanging knowledge, experiences and perspectives, we can introduce people to ideas and lines of enquiry they may not yet have explored.

3. EXPLORATIVE LEARNING To keep an open mind, question what we're told and explore ideas that may initially seem a little out there. Not to accept everything at face value, but to investigate, think critically and discern for ourselves what may, or may not, be true.

We hold two main types of event, each offering a different opportunity to connect, learn and share, plus ad-hoc seasonal events - check our programme below for dates.

Monthly Presentations

On the first Tuesday evening of each month, we gather at our beautiful barn venue in West Wales for a cuppa, good company and a presentation on a particular topic. No need to book, just turn up. £4 cash on the door, including hot herbal teas.

Triannual Fairs

Three times a year we hold a daytime fair on a Saturday at our barn in West Wales.

Expect a varied programme of seminars, workshops and stalls, bringing together people with ideas, knowledge, skills and products to share.

Monthly presentations

Tuesday 1st December 2026 - Ally van de Pol: To vacc*nate or not to vacc*nate?
In the first of our talks, our host Ally will deliver a fact-packed presentation where you'll learn all you need to know to make an informed decision about whether you and your loved should take the c*vid vacc*nations. You'll learn about the health risks and also where you stand if your employer mandates it in your workplace. There's also information available for those looking for a detox protocol. Bring a notepad and pen!

Awaken Inn Christmas Gathering

A relaxed, low-key festive gathering to catch up with friends, meet like-minded souls, and enjoy a bit of Christmas cheer!

What to bring:

A healthy dish to share for our festive pot-luck buffet.
Your own non-alcoholic drinks.
Your festive spirit!

Music, good company, and plenty of conversation guaranteed.
Optional Secret Santa: If you'd like to take part, bring a wrapped gift worth around £10, clearly marked Male, Female or Either.

Entry: £2 on the door, with hot tea provided.
